[Teacher's Blog] NOVA Cebu Office Tour

If you’re a student at NOVA online, you probably already know that all of our English teachers are from the Philippines.

This is Teacher Joey, one of the dedicated teachers here at NOVA Cebu, Philippines.

Today, I’m excited to take you on a quick tour of our vibrant and dynamic office here in Cebu!

Our office is located in IT Park, Cebu City — a prime location spanning 27 hectares that’s both accessible and surrounded by the energy of the city’s growing tech hub. 

As you step into our office, the first thing you'll notice is the reception and work area, where our handsome and beautiful managers, along with our friendly Filipino and Japanese staff, are hard at work. This area also includes a conference room, where we hold meetings, training sessions, and planning discussions.

Moving forward, you’ll come across a row of cozy cubicles for some of our teachers, designed to create a quiet and focused teaching environment. Just a few steps ahead is a dedicated IT room, where our tech team ensures everything runs smoothly. 

Next to that is our clean and modern pantry, where staff and teachers can relax, enjoy meals, or have coffee breaks. We also have a special cubicle for lactating moms, offering comfort and privacy, as well as a demo room, where teachers can conduct or practice lessons in a quiet, distraction-free space. 

Near the window side of the office, there’s a relaxation area where you can enjoy the beautiful view outside, read a book, or simply unwind during breaks. In one corner, you’ll also find our bookshelves stocked with useful teaching materials and online resources, always available for our teachers.  

Our Cebu office has over 75 individual cubicles designed for our brilliant, hardworking, and passionate teachers. These workstations are efficient, convenient, and fully equipped for quality online teaching.

With my passion for teaching and a commitment to your success, I am here to guide, support, and inspire you every step of the way. If I will be your teacher, I will make sure that there will be lots of fun when learning English. Get ready for engaging lessons as we explore the world of English. I will be glad if you will choose me to be your teacher.

I teach NOVA Speed English: Daily English Conversation for teenagers and adults and NOVA Kids English: designed for young learners aged 3 and up.
